You can go to Santa Lucía beach either by car or plane, the place counts with a national airport, it is the Joaquín Aguero national airport, located at Palmas de Lucía region then take the highway towards Santa Lucía beach, or may be you can go to this beautiful resort from Camaguey capital city which counts with a national and international airport and later you may take a taxicab or bus and travel by road some 110 kilometres.

There are international flights towards Holguín, Ciego de Ávila or Camaguey which you may choose as to get to cities close to the resort. There are other options to travel through highways from any province towards Santa Lucía. 

In order to get to Santa Lucía from the Camaguey international airport, you should take the highway going until Minas town but without entering the place and you should continue towards the Entronque de Lugareño town.

Here, there are several branch lines but you should take the one at the right which directly takes you to San Miguel de Bagá. Do not enter to this place but continue right ahead to the San Basilio community and after having travelled 5 kilometres turn to the intersection found to the left lane which will directly take you to the beach.

Right here, you will find traffic signs with distance kilometres towards Santa Lucía . From now on you will find scarce population and before arriving to the coast you will go through forest areas. Also next to the place you will find the Palmas de Lucía Community in this same highway. Continue straight ahead and very close to the sea, there is a traffic circle as the intersection point of two ways: the right via will take you to the camp base Punta Ganado, located in the eastern part of Santa Lucía beach, meanwhile the via at the left will take you next to the coast, to the Tourist Pole Santa Lucía, which nearly includes the whole beach of the same name. Welcome to Santa Lucía beach!

Once you are at Santa Lucía you may move from one place to the other with a bike, or taxi or just trekking the place full of sandy lines and enjoy from the warm breeze of the sea.
